This can be used to understand track trends, reveal cultural differences, and communication preferences across teams.
The Communication by Gender Metric measures the volume of digital communication by gender and communication medium (email, chat, meeting, and call). This metric can be used to understand the balance of digital communication initiated by each gender. Companies that have a gender balance facilitate diversity and integration in the workplace. This metric can be used to understand which gender demographic has the largest share of input, understand which communication medium represents each gender’s largest voice, and measure the effects of diversity programs on objective communication changes.
