Whitepaper: Understanding the Impacts of Remote Work on Org. Health With Workplace Analytics

Dr. Ben Waber, PhD

There are a host of behaviors that change when people work remotely, from work hours to collaboration patterns to tool usage. Workplace Analytics can help understand these changes. In order to do so, companies need to establish a baseline of behavior and measure these changes as remote work increases over time.

In this paper, we will examine how to support remote working programs by leveraging workplace analytics. Attention has to be paid to the critical questions that workplace analytics can (and cannot) answer and the metrics and data sources that are particularly important in order to understand the impact of increasing levels of remote work.
